Orlando Teen Makes It To Top 20 on American Idol

This is huge for Alyssa Raghu! Last night on American Idol where they were in Hawaii, Lake Nona High School student Alyssa Raghu got word from Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan that she was headed to the top 20!

It was after this performance of Meghan Trainor’s “Dear Future Husband” Katy Perry complimented Raghu on the entire performance - saying there was no longer a disconnect they once witnessed between her singing and dancing on stage:
