Luke Combs Is On TIME100 List for Most Influential People of 2021

What a HUGE day for Luke Combs! Time Magazine released their 2021 list of the top 100 most influential people in the world. This list is filled with leaders, innovators, advocates, artists, and more. 18 of the 100 people listed are artists but Luke Combs was the only country artist on the list! That is a big deal. These people are stated to be “those who are shaping the future & defining the next generation of leaders.”

Garth Brooks is the one that penned his profile on Time.com saying “In this age of self-promotion, Luke Combs is letting everybody else do the talking for him. That’s big in country music, which is all about sincerity and humility.” Garth Brooks then goes to say that despite all the awards and recognition Luke Combs has gotten in his career... “he realizes that being a star is not up to him: the people will confirm it.” He also continued to say that “Everything Luke tries—from Brooks & Dunn to classic country, neoclassic country, and today’s country—he sounds very much at home. He’s a singer who you can tell is really comfortable.”
