Many years before he stepped on the stage, Cleto Cordero of Flatland Cavalry was sharing a single-wide trailer with his parents and his 6 other siblings.

You read that correctly, nine of them all living under one roof, in a single-wide trailer. However, it’s that experience growing up with in a tight-knit family and having a dream, that shaped the man you see on stage today.

Cleto told “On the Record” that his Father’s dream was to have a large family and one day have a house they could make a home. His Dad went to work every single day, worked hard, and one day that dream came true.

For Cleto, his dream was music and here he is the frontman of Flatland Cavalry, with several #1 singles and a handful of ACM nominations for “Group of the Year.”

Take 3-minutes to watch Cleto talking about his childhood and how it shaped him into the incredible musician he is today from “On the Record” HERE.
