Check it out: hail falls as severe storms move across Central Florida

As severe weather moved through Central Florida Tuesday afternoon, residents reported hail ranging from dime-sized to golf ball-sized across several Central Florida counties.

Residents shared videos of hail falling across lawns and parking lots in Lake, Orange, and Osceola counties.

The severe storms carried the potential for wind gusts up to 58 miles per hour and hail the size of a quarter.

Large amounts of hail blanketed driveways and lawns as heavy rain continued across the area.

Scattered afternoon thunderstorms are expected over the next few days.
