Dolly Parton, and her husband Carl Dean have been married for 54 years and she recently sat down with Oprah Winfrey on “The Oprah Conversation" Apple TV+ show where she opens up about her career, life, marriage with husband Carl Dean, and why they never had children.
“Since I had no kids, and my husband was pretty independent, I had freedom.” So I think a big part of my whole success is the fact that I was free to work." Dolly shares in her interview with Oprah.
“A big part of my whole success, I was free to work and I didn’t have children because I believe that God didn’t mean for me to have kids so everybody’s kids could be mine, so I could do things like Imagination Library.”
