Andrew Jannakos

Andrew Jannakos

A country singer with a knack for pairing contemporary sheen and traditional twang, Andrew Jannakos built a robust social media following after appearing as a contestant on the 2019 iteration of the popular televised singing competition The Voice. The following year, he found mainstream success with his debut single, "Gone Too Soon," which cracked the Billboard Hot 100 and helped land him a deal with Sony Music Nashville.

A native of Flowery Branch, Georgia, Jannakos grew up in a large and innately musical Greek and Italian family. In his early twenties, he began playing open mikes, and in 2019 he auditioned for the 16th season of The Voice. He joined Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine's team but only lasted a few rounds before being voted off. Despite exiting early, Jannakos managed to parlay the experience into a social media boon. By the time of the release of his debut single, 2020's Billboard-charting "Gone Too Soon," he had amassed over 700,000 followers and caught the attention of Sony Music Nashville, which offered the budding star a contract. Later that year, he released the one-off holiday single "White Christmas." ~ James Christopher Monger
