November 4th, 2018 —

Well, looks like things are going really well for Michael Ray and Carly Pearce. We could NOT be happier for them than we are right now. Both of them have gone through a lot with relationships and love and now, both have said that they have never been happier. Carly Pearce has especially gone out of her way to tell the world about her love for her fellow country boy. She posted to Instagram the other day that he was “the love of her life.” This was in the same post as her talking about the release of her new song “Closer to You” and it’s debut at the Grand Ole Opry. This new song of Carly Pearces is different than the last few songs she has put out. It’s a love song that she states is about the last year of her life (which was when her and Michael Ray started their relationship). She posted to Instagram “Many things can happen in one year, but it's rare that one thing can change the course of your entire life in one year. That makes everything make sense, that lights a fire in your soul, that makes you feel things you never thought you could. That makes all the pain and heartbreak something you're grateful for. The kind of love you don't want to know a second without. The kind of love you miss before they leave your sight. So much has changed in my world and I'm so excited to share the first song from this chapter of my story. My new single. "Closer to You". I hope you love it as much as I do. ❤️ OUT NOW!!!!!” Watch the full video below of the song.
