Carly Pearce Posts Personal Messages From Fan Who Body Shames Her

1/20/2019 — Carly Pearce has been the staple girl for confidence over the last year or two. She has come up in the country world and women have fallen in love with her love for herself and other women in the industry. She posts to social media on a daily basis showing off her athleticism with 6 mile runs and sometimes even more. Even Michael Ray jokes that he can’t run as much as Carly Pearce can. She works with Nashville country artist personal trainer Erin Oprea who also trains Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Raelynn, Maren Morris and more.

After all that hard work, a fan still had the nerve to message her pictures of her at a show, singing, and ask if she was pregnant. Carly then took a screen shot of the messages she was sent by this fan and post to social to show women and others that words hurt. She shared the screenshot on Instagram with a caption that said “Last night, I got off stage on a high from an amazing show in Iowa, where I headlined my second show of the weekend, hearing the entire crowd sing the words to my songs. I checked my messages as I do every night after a show because I love y'all and love to see the fun you've had at the show, and then I saw these 2 messages. Honestly I'm still in disbelief but I wanted to share this with you because I feel like this is important (especially for women) to see that WORDS ARE POWERFUL & no matter what, THINK BEFORE YOU SPEAK and BE KIND. Body Shaming & Bullying ARE NEVER OKAY.”
