ABC's hit show Nashville will be shooting its second season in Nashville after all. Rumors were that the network was considering moving production to Los Angeles to save money. However, producers have struck a deal with state and local officials to keep the show in town. Tennessee will contribute $12.5 million toward production and Nashville will pitch in $500,000, while the city's convention center and marketing office will toss in another $250,000. Why so much support? Because Nashville provides a "valuable international platform" to promote the city and its entertainment culture.
