Jana Kramer Shares Heartwarming Daddy Daughter Moment On Instagram

We’ve all heard the expressions “mama’s boy” and “daddy’s girl,” but the reasons those terms exist is because those relationships do. We’re sure that there are intricate psychological reasons to explain those mother/son and father/daughter relationships, but does it matter? They aren’t just precious to those parents and their offspring, they’re pretty adorable to us, too. Especially when those children are little, like Jana Kramer and Michael Caussin’s daughter, Jolie Rae. Jana shared a video clip on her Instagram page, and it appears that mother and daughter had been enjoying the beautiful weather by taking a little walk. Now, we aren’t sure if Michael had been away for a couple of weeks, days or hours, or if he had merely stayed home while his little ladies took their stroll, but when Jolie spots Daddy down the sidewalk, it is like it has been years since she has seen him. RELATED:  Jana Kramer and her husband publicly declare their love in a big way The toddler takes off running on her tiny legs, ponytail bouncing, screaming “Daddy, Daddy,” before throwing her arms into the air where Michael scoops her up and swings her around. Jana writes, “My heart can’t handle this. #daddydaughterlove” In all honesty, our hearts can’t handle it either. Country music is full of amazing parents, and Jana and Michael are among them. Their commitment to raising and co-parenting their beautiful little girl superseded marital issues that they had just a short time ago when they separated in 2016. But their commitment isn’t just to Jolie Rae, it was also to each other and the wedding vows they shared in 2015. Jana, who is quite honest on social media, sometimes asking other moms for advice about raising her daughter, appearing sans make-up or glam and sharing the  heartbreaking news of a miscarriage last year, has been equally up front regarding her relationship with Michael.  She told “People” that the couple is “actively working on their relationship” and that “It’s day by day.” And, really, is that so different from most other married couples? RELATED:  Jana Kramer shares heartbreaking family news with her fans Jana and Michael did  renew their vows in December, and in another incredibly honest post, Jana wrote, “2017 … you broke my heart, you broke me down, you made me question everything, but damn did you make me strong. You taught me patience, you taught me family was everything. You made me believe not only in myself but the power of forgiveness. You turned me into the women I always wanted to be.” She also said, “Here’s to always believing in love and fighting for it.” And in a newer post, Jana shared an updated picture of the gorgeous couple and said, simply, “Dare to love.” Our props to this real-life couple who show us what “for better or worse” really means

Tim McGraw Speaks Out About Parkland, Florida Shooting

A lot of celebrities are speaking out about many of today’s tragedies. Tim Mcgraw is no different. He has taken to Facebook to share his feelings on the shooting that happened over a week ago in Parkland, Florida. He writes “ I learned one of the teachers who was shot in Florida at Stoneman Douglas, Scott Beigel, was a friend of one of my associates – they were camp counselors together. What an amazing man who lost his life protecting the children. That is a true hero. And I’m deeply moved by these students who are lifting their voices – challenging us to listen, learn, and make real changes.  #NeverAgain“

Ocala’s Own Brittany Bowe Wins Bronze in Winter Olympics

The speedskating team of Heather Bergsma, Ocala native Brittany Bowe and Mia Manganello beat Canada in the B final.

Adam Hirshfield of the Palm Beach Post writes, “The fourth time was a charm for Brittany Bowe at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. The former Florida Atlantic basketball star, 29, who had already posted top-five finishes in the women’s  5001,000 and  1,500 meters long-track speedskating events in South Korea, earned her first Olympic medal Wednesday in her final event as the USA’s four-skater group earned bronze in the 6-lap team pursuit.”

Bowe said, “We’ve obviously been medal-less for quite some time now. . .To be able to bring this home for not just ourselves, but US Speedskating and for the U.S. Olympic Committee means a ton because they’ve put in a ton of time and resources to help us be as successful as possible.”

Cole Swindell Releases Artwork For “Break Up In The End”

Cole Swindell has unveiled the cover artwork for new single “Break Up in the End,” which he will release this Friday, February 23. “This is one of those songs, from the first time I heard it I knew it was special,” Swindell captioned the single art, which shows him wearing a black hat and brown leather jacket while looking out of frame. “I think so many people will be able to relate to the lyrics. Even though I didn’t write it I’m amazed that the best writers in town are bringing songs like this to me and I’m very excited that this is the first single from my new album.” “Break Up in the End” was written by Jon Nite, Chase McGill and Jessie Jo Dillon. It marks Swindell’s ninth career single.

Blake Shelton Reaches Out To Luke Bryan After Learning Of His American Idol Gig

If you have seen The Voice, then you know how ruthless those judges are when it comes to the competition… So we can only assume that that is how Blake Shelton would be to Luke Bryan as the two go head to head during the weekly primetime hour when The Voice and American Idol air at the same time on the same day. But actually, its the exact opposite. Blake Shelton (at least behind the camera’s and publicity) he is just a supportive, great friend.

As Luke Bryan recently shared with Kix Brooks on America’s Country Countdown, Blake Shelton reached out to him when he first learned of getting his American Idol judging gig. Luke says, “When the Idol deal went down, Blake sent me a text going, ‘Man, so fired up for ya. Nobody deserves a big ole TV opportunity more than you.’ Blake’s been one of those guys that had to work and scrape for every bit of recognition that he’s had.”

Kane Brown And Lauren Alaina Get Surprise Blast From The Past At #1 Party

By  Hunter Kelly  of Rare Country:   Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina celebrated their No. 1 hit, “What Ifs,” with a party in Nashville on Feb. 20, but they had no idea about the surprise guest who would be joining them onstage. The two country stars from north Georgia actually bonded back in their middle school days when they both sang in the school choir. During the party, their middle school choir teacher, Lamar Gillespie, a.k.a. “Mr. G,” made a surprise appearance to tell them how proud he is of their success. You can see the shock on Lauren’s face as Mr. Gillespie made his way onstage for the reunion. It was the first time they had seen him since he taught them at Lakeview Middle School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. Mr. Gillespie said, “It’s crazy being from a small city. Most music teachers that teach really anything don’t have one person make it as big as these two have. But to have two in a little bitty town, it’s pretty crazy. I follow both of their successes, and I couldn’t be more proud of both of y’all. Y’all have done very good, and I’m so proud of y’all.” Without that choir class, there’s a good chance Kane might never have pursued a career in music. As you can imagine, Lauren was the star of the school choir, but Kane was a little more reserved. Kane tells Rare Country, “She was excited to be in there, and I got forced to be in there as a class.” Lauren adds, “It’s really funny because, obviously, I’m not shy or introverted in any way at all. I’ve never been. I loved chorus class. It was my very favorite. I ran that class. I’m just kidding.” Kane agrees that Lauren really did run that class, but she did settle down long enough to take notice of Kane’s hidden singing talent. Lauren says, “One day I heard him humming in class, and I was like, ‘Can you sing?’ He said, ‘I don’t sing in front of people.’ I said, ‘You’re going to today!’ I kept him after class, and he sang for me and the teacher.” Kane sang Mercy Me’s Christian hit, “I Can Only Imagine,” for Lauren and Mr. Gillespie, and that was his first step towards becoming the country star he is today. Through all of Lauren’s success on “American Idol,” Kane kept an eye on his middle school friend. Her success helped convince him that he could have a music career, too, so he started posting videos online showing off his vocal talent. Those videos quickly went viral, and now Kane is one of the top artists in the country format. Lauren says of her pal, “It’s really crazy to think we’re from the same small town, and we both used really different ways to get to this point. I was on ‘Idol,’ and he posted those videos. Now, here we are. We get to celebrate it together with a song. I’m just honored. I’m super proud of him, and he deserves it.” You both deserve it! Congratulations on all the success, Kane and Lauren!

Maren Morris Opts Out For Traditional Bachelorette Party

Maren Morris got her friends together on Monday night (2/19) for a big bachelorette party in Nashville. If you follow her on Instagram you may have seen a few drunken Instagram stories that were hilarious. But Maren’s crew didn’t hit the honky tonks on Lower Broadway like the many other bachelorette parties in Music City. Instead, they opted for a low key house party that included plenty of alcohol as well as lip-syncing to classic 90’s songs. Morris’ documented the celebration on Instagram, sharing videos and pictures of how the big soiree went down. The party was attended by everyone from RaeLynn and Cassadee Pope to Kree Harrison and Lucie Silvas.

Video surfaces of a tense altercation between drivers after the Daytona 500

By Tricia Despres , Senior Country Correspondent at  Rare Country: At the conclusion of the Daytona 500 on Feb. 18, NASCAR star-in-the-making Bubba Wallace  entered the media room in a ball of emotions. Of course, most believed that the emotions were a result of coming in second place during his first Daytona 500 and having his family there to see it all go down. But those emotions may also at least partially have been the result of a post-race altercation Bubba had gotten into with fellow racer Denny Hamlin, who finished a very close third in the race. From the looks of a new video that has recently surfaced, the two had some tense moments off the track. RELATED:  A NASCAR driver grows emotional over the new commercial that was inspired by his life According to Sporting News, Denny could be seen pinching Bubba’s car to the wall after the checkered flag waved, obviously not too happy about Bubba’s actions on the track. “I blew my right front tire out when he came down and side drafted me, so I didn’t have any control of my car because when he came down there, I was just on the yellow line,” Denny  explained to a room full of reporters, including “Sporting News,” after the race. “Nothing I could have done, and it blew my right front tire out with his fender.” RELATED:  NASCAR honors Danica Patrick as a trailblazer after her final race “If that happened, OK, so be it. But it just seems like he got off of me a little bit and then turned back into me,” Bubba then told reporters in his own defense. “I know the cars drive crazy and whatnot and they’re a handful, but it just didn’t seem like that right away, but it was tough to see from that angle anyways. Who knows. We’re both pissed off at each other, but we’re racers. We’re competitive, and we’ll go into Atlanta and be fine.” Of course, it didn’t help the situation that Bubba further stirred things up with comments he made to FOX Sports after the race. “I’ve got so many emotions going on right now. I want to see the replay before I say anything stupid. He might need to take some Adderall for that one,” Bubba said, referring to Denny’s  joke on a recent podcast, in which he claimed that 70 percent of NASCAR drivers take Adderall or some other attention deficit disorder medication to help them focus on the track. Can’t we all just get along?

Jana Kramer Handles Red Carpet Meltdown Like A Champion

By Rare Country: Meltdowns happen. When absolute exhaustion sets in, when you have no idea how to process your feelings or when you’re just done with the situation, it is inevitable. Of course, as adults, those tantrums often happen internally and manifest themselves in bottles of wine, rows of Oreos or a mind-numbing Netflix binge. But in toddlers, meltdowns happen externally and they usually involve tears and a face plant on the floor. Secretly, we’re jealous of the toddlers. Especially Jana Kramer’s little one, 2-year-old Jolie Rae. RELATED:  Jana Kramer shares new pics of family time with her hubby and baby girl If you follow Jana on social media, you might already know that when it comes to momming, she is one of the most honest and authentic mothers there is. She often shares her distress about her daughter’s finicky eating habits, and solicits the advice of other mothers when it comes to Jolie’s diet, habits, behavior and a variety of other things that toddlers go through. It’s obvious she’s so proud to be a mom and wants to be a great one. From what we’ve seen, she is. Jana and Jolie just took part in the Rookie USA Fashion Show on Feb. 15 in California. The event showcases the Rookie USA multi-brand collection of athletic apparel for kids, and features celebrity models with their children. This was Jolie’s first time to participate in a fashion show and, in her Insta Story, Jana took us behind the curtain while her gorgeous little peanut visited the glam squad before her debut. That included having her makeup done … … her hair done … … and a pre-runway snack of mac & cheese. She even had her pensive pout down pat. Prior to their stroll down the fashion show’s catwalk, though, there was a red carpet, and both Jana and Jolie, in adorable coordinating outfits, were flashing dazzling smiles. But, at one point, it looked like Jolie had enough of all of the fanfare that accompanies an event like this and she did what almost any toddler would do: She laid down on the red carpet, put her head in her hands and melted down. And Jana, well, she was downright amazing. Instead of being upset or embarrassed, she stroked Jolie’s back, smiled at the cameras and shrugged, acknowledging that her little one had had enough. RELATED:  Jana Kramer’s little family celebrates winter with a tradition that melts the iciest heart We don’t think she could have handled it any better! She didn’t make it a big deal, so there was no tantrum. She kept her cool and her sense of humor, and showed incredible patience and understanding to her sweet little girl who had already done something way outside of what she was familiar with. Jolie out. We’ve noticed that no matter how anxious Jana might get with Jolie’s limited menu, she always has a smile and laugh for her daughter, even when she drinks out of the dog bowl. What else can you do but laugh? Wouldn’t it be nice if, when we’re on the verge of a grown-up meltdown, someone would rub our backs like that?

Troy Gentry’s Widow Sues Helicopter Company For Her Husbands Death

It’s been a few months since the news of Troy Gentry’s death. There are still some investigations going on regarding what happened that terrible day. But the heartbreaking tragedy of his death has resulted in a new lawsuit. reports that Angela K. Gentry, the widow of the late Montgomery Gentry star, has filed suit against Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation and Keystone Helicopter Corporation for multiple defects in the doomed helicopter.  The suit claims that the company “made it a point to hide and deny” those defects in the copter, reports  Courthouse News Service.

“The dangers from the lack of crashworthiness and defects in the engine, transmission and sprag clutch, throttle cables, engine attachments and absence of crashworthy features were unknown to the average user and consumer of this helicopter but well known to these defendants who made it a point to hide and deny any problems that could and did cause serious personal injury and death,” states the complaint, filed in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas by the Wolk Law Firm.

“Because of defects in the engine, throttle cable attachment and collective control, the helicopter did not enter autorotation as expected , it did not disengage smartly from the transmission, so the engine the rotors slowed to a speed lower than would permit a safe autorotation, thus allowing the helicopter to drop like a stone to the ground below, killing all aboard,” the suit added.

When reached for a response, Sikorsky spokeswoman Callie Ferrari declined to comment on the suit, pending an investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.

“We are fully cooperating with the NTSB and cannot comment further due to the investigation,” she said in a press statement.

Throwback To Chris Stapleton & His Wife Singing Unique Version Of “You Are My Sunshine”

Well, I think it is definitely safe to say that we have never heard “You are my Sunshine” like this. Here is a throwback to Chris Stapleton and his wife, back in 2015 singing the iconic song in what looks like a small venue for some fans…

Tim McGraw Shows Off His Gorgeous Wife While On Vacation

By Rare Country:

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are never too shy to turn up the heat when it comes to their beautiful marriage. And, they’ve proved that many times while onstage, in interviews and on social media. So when it came time to celebrate Valentine’s Day, we sort of had a hunch that they would put their love for each other on display in some way, shape or form. And sure enough, they did. For the romantic holiday, Tim took to his Instagram page and paid tribute to the love of his life with a photo and lyrics that mimic “My Funny Valentine.” The song, which was originally used in the 1937 Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart musical “Babes in Arms,” went on to become a jazz standard that has been covered by famous singers like Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Ella Fitzgerald. “My funny valentine, sweet, sweet valentine you make me happy …” Tim adorably captioned his message, alongside a snapshot of his wife of more than 20 years. In the accompanying photo, Faith rocks a more simple and relaxed style than what we’re used to seeing, as she always looks so perfectly glammed up for concerts and red carpet events. Even though she appears to be casually dressed in beachwear, she still looks so stunning in her fashionable black sundress or cover-up and matching wide-brimmed hat! She has her hair pulled back in a loose braid or ponytail while flashing her flawless smile for the camera. Meanwhile, the view behind her shows glimpses of palm trees and enviable warm weather. So, we can only assume that the snapshot is from one of the married couple’s recent vacations on their  private island in the Bahamas. As for Faith, she didn’t post a Valentine’s Day-elated note or photo on Instagram, but she did reference two of the couple’s romantic duets, “It’s Your Love” and “The Rest of Our Life” on  Facebook. Soon enough fans will get to hear those duets live, because Faith and Tim will be bringing their love back to the stage for the second leg of their “Soul2Soul The World Tour.” The tour picks up on May 31 in Richmond, Virginia, and wraps up on July 22 in Sacramento, California. Fans can go to for a complete list of tour dates.

Kane Brown & his fiancé’s Valentine’s Day duet gets a surprising background singer

By Rare Country: We see a lot of evidence that talent runs in families. Garth Brooks’ daughter, Allie, is a gifted singer-songwriter, and so is Vince Gill’s daughter, Jenny, and Toby Keith’s daughter, Krystal. We’re already spying little singers in kiddos like Hillary Scott’s daughter, Eisele, and Kimberly Schlapman’s girl, Daisy. But, occasionally, talent marries talent, like Garth and Trisha Yearwood, Vince and Amy Grant, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, and Thompson Square’s Shawna and Keifer Thompson. It looks like that might be the case with Kane Brown and his fiancée, Katelyn Jae. Obviously, we know that Kane is quite the singer, songwriter and even dancer when he hits the stage, as he has been doing lately on Chris Young’s “Losing Sleep Tour.” His self-titled debut album has sold more than a half-million copies and he landed his first big No. 1 in 2017 with “What Ifs” featuring longtime pal Lauren Alaina. The follow-up single, “Heaven” is in the Top 10 now and is still climbing the charts. RELATED:  Kane Brown and fiancée share pics of romantic getaway But Kane’s beautiful fiancée, Katelyn, is no slouch when it comes to singing either. We’ve heard their front seat sing-alongs before, but this talented blond beauty could have quite a promising pop career on the horizon, although for now, she seems to be focused on wedding plans and supporting her fella’s career. There’s another member of the family, though, who may not have quite the vocal quality and talent that Kane and Katelyn have. He does, however, have his own tone and timbre that lends a little something extra to their family sing-alongs. It’s the couple’s English bulldog, Rambo. The happy couple was singing a karaoke-style duet of Julia Michaels’ “Issues” at home on Valentine’s Day when Kane pulled the lovable pooch into his lap. After giving his pops a wonderfully slobbery lick, Rambo chimed right in with his own vocals, snorting and slapping his abundant jowls. RELATED:  Kane Brown and his fiancée’s dance party has everyone talking It is so hilarious that even Kane and Katelyn get tickled by Rambo’s hysterical, and somewhat juicy, contribution. Kane shared the big news of the couple’s engagement early last year during a concert, but since then, both he and Katelyn have been somewhat tight-lipped regarding details of their wedding. We do know that the ceremony will take place in the fall, but no specific date or location has been announced. The bride-to-be has also been pretty secretive about her wedding gown, if she’s found it yet, but there’s no doubt that whatever she chooses to wear, she’ll be utterly ravishing in it. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see those pictures after they exchange their “I dos!” But there is still one question: What role will Rambo play in the nuptials? We’re hoping for ring-bearer.

Kelsea Ballerini & Husband Play Together For The First Time

Kelsea Ballerini and her hubby got to celebrate their first married Valentines Day together, even though Kelsea Ballerini kicked off her headlining tour a few weeks ago. She was playing her first headlining show at the historic Ryman Auditorium, which is in Nashville so Morgan Evans joined her on Valentine’s Day.

The newlywed was surprised when her new husband, country singer Morgan Evans came on stage to deliver a giant vase of roses. Ballerini told the crowd that she thought he had forgotten Valentine’s Day.

The new bride told fans that the singers had been to each other’s shows before, but this was their first time to perform together, reports  The Tennessean .

The cute couple then proceeded to sing a song that the Australian had written shortly after meeting the “Dibs” singer.

You can hear Ballerini tell her husband, “Don’t cry,” as he started to play the love song.

The Valentine’s Day Ryman show kicked off Ballerini’s headlining tour. She will tour with Keith Urban starting June 15 through November 3, ending in Dallas, TX.
