I know you may either completely agree or disagree with me, and that’s totally fine. But for those of us who just can’t stomach the Easter novelty known as “Peeps,” you can watch below for a few alternate uses for them!:
TMZ has the scoop on Sam Hunt and all his wedding details. According to them he will be officially off the market and a married man Saturday (4/15) after he ties the knot with fiancee Hannah Lee Fowler in his Georgia hometown. Someone may be in big trouble when the couple finds out the source came from someone involved in the wedding but they spilled the beans to TMZ that the ceremony will go down in Cedartown, Georgia and it will be a small affair — close family and friends only. But of course this doesnt’ mean that the wedding will be cheap by any means…accroding to TMZ it’s going to be quite the opposite. Renowned Nashville bridal designer Olia Zavozina is designing the perfect outfit for the men and a super expensive wedding dress for Hannah. She’s also dressing Hannah’s bridesmaids. She recently designed Hunt’s outfit for the ACM Awards… Which we all remember him wearing when he brought attention to his fiance during his performance (posted below). It has also been stated that the ceremony and reception will be videotaped, but Sam and Hannah will NOT sell their wedding photos to any of the mags. We have all seen those headlines with magazines that we think to ourselves “there is no way this is true… ” All the stories about divorces and pregnancy and all of that. Well back in 2015, Blake Shelton had enough of In Touch Magazine and their the lies they were printing about him and Miranda Lambert. In the September 2015 issue the cover story claimed Blake was headed to rehab and that his heavy drinking contributed to his divorce from Miranda Lambert. Which was so far from the truth that Blake Shelton filed for defamation of character and it’s been reported that they reached a settlement in his lawsuit with In Touch magazine according to documents filed in a Los Angeles federal court on Thursday (4/13) stating, lawyers for Shelton and In Touch asked a judge to dismiss the defamation lawsuit filed by Blake. While no details were released about a possible settlement, sources tell TMZ that In Touch has “shelled out an undisclosed amount of money to make the suit go away.”
So as we know… most country stars are hot. They have perfectly in-shape bodies that they work hard to keep that way. They have to watch what they eat, or work out all the time. And Brett Young is no different. This guy is good looking but he has to work hard to keep his body looking like that. Except when there is pizza around… Pizza is his major weakness… He says, “You know it probably depends on the city I’m in because there’s, you know if I’m in Chicago I’m definitely going to go get some pizza. I’m either gonna go to Lou’s or Giordano’s. But you know if I’m in Los Angeles chances are I’m going to go have In and Out. So it just kind of depends, but I think if I had to pick like one as a default cheat, it would be pizza.”
Josh Turner, man this guy is hitting the top 5 for his newest song “Hometown Girl” and when he talks about this song he likes to make sure his fans know that he isn’t just making this stuff up.. he is grabbing all of it from his childhood and where he group up… “I kind of describe my childhood and my upbringing as kind of a paradise in a way, because I was pretty blessed. Not everybody had the kind of upbringing that I had and I’m very thankful that I had it, and I’m glad I had it because I’m a writer and I’m a creator and I’m a singer and so I take joy in trying to paint that picture for people whether they had it or not. It’s like if they had it they can relate to it, and if they didn’t have it, they get to thinking it’s like wow, that would be awesome to have.”
Tim and Faith’s new single Speak to a Girl is already in the top 25 charts… meaning its going to be quite a big song. And both Tim and Faith have a special place in their hearts for this song. But it is already a huge song to both Tim and Faith for more reasons than ‘it’s just a good song’… Faith: “Speak to a Girl, the first time I heard it…First of all, it was simply just a great song. I connected to it lyrically, melodically, everything. It’s important that we… Tim: “I think that’s the key word. It’s important.” Faith: “It’s important that we be honest with one another as people.” Tim: “It’s important that young women hear that message from the men in their lives and from the other women in their lives. It’s important that the young men hear this message so they know how to speak to a girl.”
Oh my. You may need a second after watching this, hahahaha. Channing Tatum’s known for his Magic Mike dance moves and his role in the movie, but now there’s a show in Las Vegas. Channing says, “We want to change what male entertainment has been for years. For 40, 50 years, it hasn’t changed, and we want to make it better . . . We got to do some different stuff and have some fun in different ways and make it more of a conversation instead of just men going up there and trying to tell you what you should think is sexy. We really want to hear from you.” (EW.com) Channing may not be the star of this particular show, but he said a cameo isn’t out of question, “If I’m ever in shape enough to actually do the show again, I will absolutely step on stage, just because it’s fun,” he said. “I’m sure there’ll be a lot of crazy cameos.”’
Nashville fans, get excited! Hayden Panettiere and Charles Esten are back for another season! “CMT reports, “Charles Esten and Hayden Panettiere, aka Deacon Claybourne and Juliette Barnes, exclusively told fans this afternoon that Nashville has been picked up for a sixth season! The show will also be returning for the second half of the fifth season on June 1.”
Last night’s episode of Dancing with the Stars was an emotional one. NFL star Rashad Jennings danced to Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally,” which paid tribute to his complicated relationship with his father. Jennings got a standing ovation for his performance:
This is such exciting news for High Valley’s Curtis, and his wife Myranda! Curtis told me back in February in Nashville that none of his family ever finds out what the gender is going to be during pregnancies – it’s always a surprise! Welcome to the world, Millie June!
This is hilarious! Lauren Alaina has been working for this number one for a long time now and we are so happy she finally has it with her single Road Less Traveled. She celebrates by posting a a video to instagram announcing the big news and in her video she tries to make it a party… but her confetti doesn’t actually work.. and she captioned the video with “Apparently having the number one song in the country does not make you less of a dork. Forever on the #RoadLessTraveled #ohhhhh“. Fits her personality perfectly… fun and crazy. Congratulations Lauren Alaina!
AAAAHHHHH we cannot wait for these guys to come to Orlando in October. This is going to be a great show… and last night (4/8) Tim and Faith kicked off the Soul2Soul tour in New Orleans and they shared some photos to their instagrams of the big night…
Looks like Jennifer Wayne, of Runaway June, and her estranged fiance, William Michael Morgan got engaged at the end of 2016, right around Christmas time but it wasn’t long lived. They called off their engagement recently by tweeting ou the tweet below that states “William and I have called off our engagement. WE came to the mutual agreement that this is what’s best for both of us right now.” So everything seemed mutual and civil… that is until Jennifer posted an instagram photo of her hand with NO ring on her finger (posted below) with the caption that says “If you’re gunna love somebody… yeah you better love somebody, who ruins your lipstick, not your mascara.” That is the lyrics to Runaway June’s successful single Lip Stick. That sounds like a jab at William Michael Morgan if you ask us. William and I have called off our engagement. We came to the mutual agreement that this is what’s best for both of us right now. — Jennifer Wayne (@jenwayne) April 7, 2017
The life and music of Merle Haggard was huge part of our history and he was honored friday night (4/6) during the Sing Me Back Home: The Music Of Merle Haggard tribute concert in Nashville. This tribute takes place on the one year anniversary of Merle’s passing and what would have been his 80th birthday, the concert included performances from country icons such as Loretta Lynn and Willie Nelson, as well as rock legends the likes of ZZ Top’s Bill Gibbons and Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones. There was all-star collaboration from Jake Owen and Chris Janson, who teamed up to perform Haggard’s “Footlights.” The tributes came from artists of all genres, including a performance of Merle’s classic “Mama Tried” by the folk rock band The Avett Brothers. With the help of Jamey Johnson, Loretta Lynn performed Merle’s “Today I Started Loving You Again.” Taking the stage in a sleek black dress, Miranda Lambert put her spin The Hag’s 1980 hit “Misery and Gin.” Then Nashville’s mayor, Megan Barry, was on hand to proclaim April 6 as “Merle Haggard Day” in Music City. The crowd roared with applause when Hank Williams Jr. took the stage to perform “I Think I’ll Just Stay Here And Drink.” In one of the biggest collaborations of the night, Willie Nelson and Keith Richards teamed up to play “Reasons To Quit,” an old Willie and Merle duet. Nelson later teamed up with Kenny Chesney to revive another classic Willie and Merle duet, “Pancho and Lefty.” Chesney then left the stage and Toby Keith joined Willie to perform “Ramblin’ Fever.” All of the artists soon returned to the stage to wrap up the show with “Okie From Muskogee,” Haggard’s signature song.
Alan Jackson, Jerry Reed Named Country Music HOF Inductee “Alan Jackson, the late Jerry Reed and “The Gambler” songwriter Don Schlitz have been chosen as the 2017 inductees into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Country Music Association announced their induction choices in Nashville on Wednesday at a humorous ceremony that featured Vince Gill. “Jackson will be inducted as this year’s “Modern Era Artist. He said, “My whole career has just been a fairytale…I came to Nashville with nothing and ignorant about the music business and had no experience, and then to go through all of this, this is the ultimate piece of the puzzle. I don’t even know how to describe it.”
